They can assess common risk factors that can increase your chances of falling, such as underlying medical conditions, medications you take, and even your vision and footwear. Additionally, your doctor can evaluate your strength and balance abilities, as well as your blood pressure, to identify any potential issues that might contribute to a fall.
When these risk factors are not managed properly, they can result in a fall. If a fall does happen, ComForCare understands the importance of a swift and thorough response. We’ll work hard to identify the reasons behind the fall, considering all the contributing factors. With this information, we then work with you and your healthcare provider to develop the right plan to keep you safe and independent at home.

We have partnered with a practicing physical therapist who is a leading expert on exercise programs for fall prevention. After your screening, we suggest custom interventions that can help reduce your risk. Our offices are educated on how to assess risk for falls and identify ways to reduce them.
