Raymond: World Explorer, Restaurateur, Father & Grandpa
“We’re excited to be helping people find the right person and make them feel good about their family situation.” - Allen Chan and Raymond Yeung
Friendship Backed by Shared Experience
Allen and Raymond became friends over 30 years ago. As their years of friendship rolled on, Allen and Raymond experienced similar situations as they watched their parents’ health decline.
Allen’s father and mother-in-law lived with Alzheimer’s disease and Raymond’s dad passed away from the same condition. Going through these trying times brought these friends together and shed light on what people go through when dealing with aging parents.
So, when Allen approached Raymond with the idea to open a ComForCare franchise, he knew he was all in. This was a life-long calling for both Allen and Raymond and the time was right to make the leap.
The Right Choice Rose to the Top
The more Allen and Raymond learned about ComForCare, the clearer it became that this was the right fit for them. The mission spoke to them on a personal level and they knew that their combined personalities would work to serve their community in a powerful way.
As a pharmacist, helping people comes naturally to Raymond. Allen not only cares about people and his community, but brings back-end business know-how to the table thanks to his years of banking experience. In fact, Allen cares so deeply about others that he is a World Vision Canada sponsor of 10 children and is a crisis responder volunteer at Kids Help Phone Canada
The Heart of the Matter
“This is about helping our clients and helping their family members as well. Finding the right caregiver unlocks the ability to spend more valuable time together with their loved one,” Allen said.
Raymond couldn’t agree more. “It brings great satisfaction and fulfillment to find the right people and match people in need. We’re helping people find the right person and make them feel good about their family situation. That’s why we’re so excited. We know we can help and make an impact.”
